 Retail Vid 1 - Crumbling World

For fun I created a promotional video for World Music Nashville using a small palm-sized consumer "photo" camera to shoot the video. I fired up my computer and combined a few of my photos, Photoshopped a logo, created an Adobe After Effects animation, added sound effects and music, and recorded a wacky voice over, ... and viola! .... instant budget commercial.

Retail Vid 2 - Backwoods Lightening

Shot with a small point-and-shoot "photo" camera. I was working on writing a song with an evil backwoods theme in mind. While I was experimenting on the guitar, this voice came out of me. For those of you who know me well, you know this doesn't in any way sound like me. People usually say, "That's you?".
I also arranged and edited the background music.

ED BEAVER - The Guitar Whisperer

Ed set up his business" Ed Beaver Guitars" in the World Music Nashville building. When taking a break from working in my office as the Marketing & Internet Manager for World Music, I would stop by and visit with Ed almost daily. He sure had some stories to tell. In addition to his technical guitar work, Ed is also a longtime performing singer-songwriter.

THOM BRESH - The Guitar Virtuoso (truly!)

Special thanks to Thom for video footage and narration. Mr. Bresh is a multiple Grammy and Academy award nominee, inductee into the “Thumbpickers Hall of Fame”, singer, songwriter, producer, and TV host. As Chet Atkins put it, “Thom Bresh is a "World Class" guitarist that deserves to be heard.” Thom's father, Merle Travis, was one of the most influential American guitarists of the 20th Century. His name is synonymous with a classic guitar style, Travis Picking. "Thom carries on that tradition, and then adds so much more. His playing is mesmerizing, and then you add a bountiful personality filled with great story telling and a ample sense of humor. Seeing "The Breshman" perform is a treat you should add to your bucket list. ~ D.A.J."

DAVID ANDREW JOHNSON - Multimedia Designer, Techie, Musician

The "Ed Beaver" video editor is D.A.J. Dave also quickly played the very short guitar intro music, shot photos, and photoshopped images for the vid. Those bushes and trees around World Music are not that full or that "green!".

David Andrew Johnson is a Nashville based Graphic Designer, Copywriter, Web Tech and general Marketing practitioner.
