Hand Drawn Images

Freehanded illustration: Whether it be paper and pencil, pen and ink, or manual digital drawing tools, the imprecise motions of the hand impart a humanity to a composition. As with the bite of words pumped out of the tip of a pen, emotion can be just as readily expressed by the flair of a determined brush stroke.

The following whimsical images where in most cases drawn by hand in pencil. Next they were inked in with an artist's pen. Some images were painted with a computer drawing tablet and pen, but just like real paint, the images were created by hundreds of brush-strokes of varying opacities and colors that build to the final image.
